Helping a Hero 2010 is here! This year the benefit will be held on October 9th, 2010 at the following location:

Baytown Fairgrounds, 7900 N. Main, Baytown, Texas 77521

This year the benefit will feature country recording artists Rhett Akins, George Ducas, Matt Stillwell, and Rexton Lee! Advance tickets for the event can be purchased for $15 online by clicking on the button above. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $20. Children under 10 are free!

Portions of this website are pending, and will be updated over the next few weeks. The entertainer list has been posted under "Entertainment", and volunteers will be contacted, meeting will be announced, and committee positions will become available. Please sign up on the "Volunteer" page and get ready to make this event a success!!!

The Baytown Municipal Police Association oversees the “Helping a Hero” benefit. The benefit was created to assist our Police Officers and Police Department employees in times of need. The 2008 benefit went to help a civilian employee who was battling cancer, and the 2009 benefit has helped fallen officers in our area, as well as members of the Baytown PD who were in need. We now have a permanent account with funds on hand for situations that come up throughout the year to help these heroes of Baytown.

Any monetary donations should be made payable to the Baytown Municipal Police Association, noting it as for the Helping a Hero Benefit, and remember we are a 501(c)3 (pending) organization, so gifts are tax deductible.
